What did you do to take care of it?

 

Oh it wasn't anything serious whatsoever. The previous owner had used screws to mount a few things I removed in the engine bay leaving rust around where he had drilled. sanded them down and used touch up paint on them.

Looks okay for now, Going have the entire bay resprayed this winter when I remove the ABS, Power steering, and hide the fusebox and alot of the wiring harness.

Update: So I was driving home yesterday, Was stopped at a light, Rolled out of first got on it about 60% of the way in 2nd and my car backfired... My car won't boost, Breaks up extremely bad with the slightest amount of boost... Finally limped the car home, my bumper is extremely dark from exhaust gas... Any ideas on what it could be guys?

Did you check to see if all of your intercooler pipes are on? Sometimes the clamps let go and cause the car to run extremely rich and back fire, and go in limp mode.

I did check, I've got to do a more thorough check though. I'm going to look at it tonight.

Small updates, EGR delete plate is in. Still have to delete the other sensors/lines and EVAP system.

Waiting on my Speed Density Kit, UEGO and Tactrix cable to come in too



Also Popped my headlights open to spray the inside black! One of the scarier things I've done I must say...

I'll be finishing the headlights next week, I cracked my passenger amber insert and found a member on here who actually had a spare one! Thanks again man!

nice, did u figure out that problem with the limp mode?

 

I threw codes for few maf related things and a few EGR related things So I believe its my MAF and EGR working together to try and make me bald

Compression is fine, everything else is fine.
