Anyone make this center panel? (MR double din style)
just saw a picture of the MR din panel area... I want to mount my blitz boost controller and power meter in the center along w/ my radio. So does anyone make this?
you will need to move your a/c panel to the bottom chubby hole which is not easily done. as a matter of fact, it will take tons of money and time to do that which is not worth it whenyou can just move you headunit to the bottom in less than 10 mins and install your blitz stuff where the headunit was.
well..i have my safc in the cubby hole right now and want easy access to the radio since i use it more often. I was planning on moving the hvac to the glove anyways so i could mount a couple of 60mm gauges in the holes... but if i could get a hold of this double din, i would like to have my ebc up top as well as my headunit.
well, if you move your HVAC to the glove box than you will be all set. just go to www.japanparts.com and they have the double din panel.

1. Don't get the double din panel. It does not replace the entire panel and is just a stick on. Trust me, I had the misfortune of buying one and having a pleasant surprise. Also, the JDM double din sits lower than the USDM meaning the radio will have to be mounted lower also.
2. For anyone who wants to do the JDM climate control conversion... how much time ya got buddy? It's an uphill battle to say the least. First to source all those parts. Then to have to figure out the wiring pattern. And then you've got to make sure all the servos will work properly. Good luck to anyone who tries. I've got my own setup which retains the stock cables.
