Thank you. We're lucky to have several guys on the team that have experience in different areas to make it happen. the carbon stuff has been a learning curve for sure.

We had some mold mishaps and ended up wasting a bunch of time - but learning a lot as we go.

Had to redo a few molds

And we finally got a usable part!

There are a few blemishes in the layup but it's crunch time so we'll use it!

got the other door off of the mold. had a coworker that has experience from aero design come over and give us a hand and a lot of pointers. the lines in the middle are from where i got froggy with the brush and dug into the mold release. lesson learned. they should sand out nicely.

Thanks for updating the thread

Im sure those subframes are fully fixtured, so they are very precise. Making one w/out a fixture would not work out right

Hoping you guys will post up on Youtube once this hits the track

We bolted the rear into the car last night. Fit beautifully to the body. Had contact with the fuel filler hose so we removed it (fuel cell).

You guys are doing everything I dream of doing. Awesome build.

I've been slowly gathering parts over the last year and a half since my car blew and decided to go for a full time attack car but i've been working alone and learning as I go.I'm hoping to have something of a working car soon so I can start doing my SCCA stuff. But for now just a stripped down chassis with an engine.

I'm interested in those subframes. I've only ever seen Voodoo or Magnus.

Again, awesome job.

Thanks!

it is a dream to build a car like this for us too - although sometimes it seems like a nightmare when you look at your bank statements during race season lol

i had only seen magnus parts too. Nothing wrong with them but these are built extremely well and a fraction of the price - its a no-brainer if you're going to get subframe to get Dan's.

Yeah this is killing me now...

I am going to protest the entire site I think...

The money they would make from advertisements alone is more than enough from the traffic they would have seen. i will not go back there ever again, they are being so selfish...
