350z gauge panel for evo

hey guys

i know alot of you ( and me) truly love the interior of the 350z and its gauge pod on the dashboard

i want to do the same thing but first want to see how many of you would be interested in getting something like this..the dashboard is not doable in the evo since there will be no way to place it....the only way is to do the center console but with a Z look...something like this ( i obv have no photoshop experience so all of you guys who do....help me out and make a good pic please)

lemme know if u guys think this is worthwhile or if most of you already have the gruppes gauge panel and other similar things etc etc....jus lemme know if i should attempt it ( i dont want to waste time if enough interest isnt generated)

thanks

that panel is similiar but the gauges stick out alot ( at least in the pics)

i want to get the gauges in deep like the Z and tilted towards the driver....maybe even tiltable back and forth if i can devise some way to do that ( im sure i can if i think long and hard hahaha)

ugh, the Z's interior feels cheap and looks like crap...

Went shopping for a 350z with my dad and the interior totally turn both of us off. He ended up getting a g35 coupe

I dont think you will be able to have the gauges recessed or sunken in like that. There isnt a lot of space actually for that behind the panel.

Anyone willing to give up their center vents and clock for some gauges? I think that would look sweet and offer a better line of view... and i think a company like tap plastics could easily make a panel that fits over that area...

I like the thought of that panel like the Z. I love the Z's interior so stylish!!!! I do not like the craig hardy panel myself, but you are onto something ashokn.

You might be able to get the recessed, angled look using Autometer or VDO dimmer rings.
