Flaws in the carbon fiber wing

I wanted to know if anyone has any imperfections in the weave of the carbon fiber in their wing. I spotted my weave deflections the first sunny day I had the car.

The carbon fiber used in the wing is hand laid, right?

That's what I have been telling people. "It's hand laid carbon fiber...the imperfection in the weave just shows that."

Am I right?

Anyone else have an imperfection?

I find mine adds character and I am not upset at all, just curious.

The flaw is perfectly flat, covered by the factory clear coat. Other than the visual effect, there is no problems or worries with the wing. The flaw adds character imo.

To prevent yellowing, ALWAYS HAVE 3 COATS OF WAX on the wing, if you do nothing else.

Is the clear coat any different that the clear on the car? I wash and wax my wing no different than the whole body.

I do not have any flaws in the clear...this thread was just to gauge imperfections in the weave itself.

Take a real close look at someones carbon fiber hood (its got to be a REAL) and most have a lot of imperfections.
