Preferably on a black or blue Evo. Also can you buy them pre-painted red or do you have to take it out and paint in yourself?

How exactly would you "take it out" when it's molded into the front fascia? Those look like vinyl overlays.

nah, the badge is just glued on in the front, I took my old one off and bought a new one from the dealer and painted it red. The only reason I got a new one was because it had new glue on the back. Just get a hairdryer and heat up the the badge on the front and the glue will loosen up and it will just pull right off. I have pics of my badge, but my evo is white.

Wow you learn something new every day. Indeed upon further investigation, my front badge IS simply glued on. I have a red evo, so I think I'll paint mine red. I was never much for the giant bling bling badge up there, but I didn't know there was anything I could do about it. Once again evom RAWKS for knowledge

I've been wanting to make mine black (yellow evo). Any suggestions on type of paint or vinyl sources? What about paint prep. (sanding) etc? Thanks.

Jong, I'll have to let you know what type of paint I used later because I still have some in my garage.. but as far as prepping goes, I got some stuff called Bulldog or something like that from a paint store. All you do is spray it on and it will do something to the surface of the painted plastic to make the new paint stick. If that didn't make sense or if you have any more questions just let me know and I'll do my best to help out.
