But i do have a good question.. these are made by rota in the philipines, however they were not designed for the center pieces to cover the evo hubs as they stick out quite far, besides the the center caps i dont really like... It looks good without them, but i would rather have them covered. Will the Work Emotion Kai center pieces fit this rim.. if its an exact replica pretty much? can anyone take a real close up picture of the center cap on their emotions?
Oh i also have the Mcgrab lugs on here.. very nice, super lightweight. I went up to see the guys at subydude in person, got a ridiculous price... and there are many people in the norcal area wearing these wheels, driving hard, and they absolutely rock.
I also got to see the prototype for their evo slipstreams. Its a forged wheel, 17x8.5 and weighs 17 lbs.. it was definately lighter then the torque which was and 18 lbs wheel.

i think my next performance upgrade is going to be tein coilovers and rotors... im thinking gold colored drilled rotors would really give off an awesome appearnce with these wheels.
I dont know to much about brakes, can you incrase the rotor size with 17"s and using the stock calipers? or can you only go for the original size.. in which case going drilled would decrease the surface area and hamper braking?

well i nabbed them off ebay, since they were the last set available from the first batch i paid a mere $550, + 85 for the lugs. And im not putting springs on the car and ruining the suspension, I will wait and get the coilovers, thanks.
I got the car used, so i dont know what kind of rotors those are, but almost everything on the car had been replaced when i picked it up.
I should add that if there are any questions about their durability, subydude tracks these wills on their WRX with an STI conversion. The only problem is the hub issue, im hoping that will get resolved soon if i can find out the work center caps fit.

Nice....I love bronze wheels on red. I guess that is why I've had bronze CE-28's on my car for a while now.
Good choice in color, now just lower that thing.
