thanks guys, we really appreciate it.
I say "we" because I have a shop in pennsylvania, CBRD (chad block racing development, cbrd speed factory) The new location will be open in 2-3 months, depending on renovations.. 6500 sq feet, dyno, 2 lifts, 2 race simulators, kitchen, etc etc.... these are our two project cars... both have been a slow process because of everything else with my racing etc... I expect the evo to make around 425whp on pump on a mustang or equivalent dyno... we made 372 before with it on 93 at 23.5 psi on a turbonetics 60-1 non ball bearing and with no internal work at all. Now it has cams, valves, arps, etc... and is running at 26 psi on pump gas.... the sti has 900 miles on the motor with forged pistons, valves, new retainers and springs, arps, cometic, etc etc.... i expect around the same numbers on pump gas... but the evo should shine on race gas... i have to admit, i am partial to the evo...... its more positive and light on the fingertips... the sti may go soon (after the photoshoot) to make way for our next project car a 2006 silver Lotus Exige that we will be turbocharging. thanks again for the feedback, hopefully you'll be seeing our customer cars on here when the new facility officially opens. cheers chad b |
