sweet........ its also weird that this past year all my guy friends got either shift knobs, or ebrake cover kits from their gf on their bdays... maybe ill get lucky and get one too... ahhhhh shiza i forgot i didnt have a gf... haha looks nice though!

I have a carbon fiber E-brake I was supposed to put in my old 8, never got to. I just can't figure out how to get the sucker off. I don't want to break anything.

I like it...Does the knob screw on and you have to tighten it up on the bottom or is it a perfect fit?

Most of these universal shift knobs come with a bunch of rubber caps. You put the rubber cap on the shift lever that fits it snuggly, then you push the knob down over the selected rubber adjuster cap. You then turn it until it's threaded up to the back of the rubber cap. Then you take three alan screws included, with a little alan wrench and tighten them down on the sides of the knob, securing it to the rubber adapter and the shift lever, then you screw the boot into it.

Also, I'd like to note, it sits much higher up then the stock one - which is good. It's like, RIGHT there, it makes shifting so effortless, the comfort is insanely good, I promise.

I like to boot but the knob looks kinda big. Is it pretty large?

Very nice looking, little too much excess shift boot for my taste, but it looks soft.

Yeah, it's a pretty big boot, I like it like this, though. It beats the hell out of the stock plastic one. It's very soft, feels like the Evo 9 seats and the center console, matches nicely. I would have cut the shift boot down, but it's just too expensive to mess up. It's not easy to cut something like that, and by cutting it, you'd be removing the elastic band at the bottom that helps install it.

As for the knob being large, it's not as big as you think, it's much bigger than stock, but its like right where you want it. Shifting is much more comfortable and the throw feels shorter.

Eh, that boot is really baggy. I just hope she didn't get you the matching peddles, ha.

dunno if i like it. was not a fan of aftermarket boots and knobs, but hey it's your car. props to you though!

take a pic showing more of the interior. I'd like to see how it looks in relation to the rest of the console and dash and seats and stuff. I like the look :)

I like the knob but the boot is a bit too bulky... o well you have to keep it or else...

Its not bad, I had the same one on my prelude. Its a little to bulky for my comfort though.
