Can't decide what tail lights to get...
 

I've got an electric blue evo with mostly black everything, black VG, badges, windows, and I'm tired of having chome bling tail lights.

So my question is which tails do you think would look the best on a blue evo with mostly black. I've been considering getting VHT and make the whole thing black(goes with color scheme and cheap to do), or evo 7 tails cuz it looks good with blue. Then you have the black housing on the 9 and jdm mr tails. Can't decided help me out.

...and do they make black headlight covers for track/day tinme use?

on blue, i would get jdm mr tails, mr headlamps and jdm amber front sidelights. all the amber goes good together and the black housing goes good together. btw, blue with those lamps are the best i've seen.

either that or

jdm evo7/8 (non black housing)
with jdm evo7 tails.

this of course depends on the wheels u have also. dark wheels, go with first option i posted or lighter colored wheels, go with second choise i posted. this is my opinion!

edit: u have all black badges and such...stick with JDM MR lamps. i want to emphasize (spelling correct?) the amber side lights though. goes really nice. i got em on my red VIII

If you don't like the black chrome than I would get the JDM EVO VIII MR tail lights.They have the flat black housing with the amber side markers which I think look better than the USDM EVO IX taillights.

Those look like they're painted Evo 8 housings. They're darker red than the Evo 7 (which is a good thing because they're not pink). Am I right?

jdm mr for sure. if you want to go cheap, get some overlays on evo 9 tails i guess

I like the black housing myself, but the Chrome/White looking turn signal strip seems to throw it off a bit. I opted to paint my tails flat black with a gunmetal signal.

You could do it yourself if you have patience and another daily driver, or you could have evodave paint them.
