Apex Silver w/ TE37's question.
Hello all, i was browsing the pics of evo's on my comp still trying to decide what color to really look for. And i came across this:
http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...12offset-1.jpg I searched but couldn't really find anything. Anyone have any specs on this car? Wheel specs if possible and any other info. I know they are te-37's thats about all haha. Went to the web address listed but it said under construction. I was dead set on RR, but this makes it all the more difficult to decide WW, RR, or Apex. Thanks a lot guys! :) |
that is a very low offset wheel.
I am sure they are 22 rubbing big time.. |
if i remember correctly. those wheels are +12. was that pic from the AS thread, cause if so he says his offset/set up there. and also i believe those are 18x9.5 or 10
|
If i remember correctly they are 18x10 +12, and has a small tire on it. (stretched)
|
damn.. anymore pics. looks sick..

I think the owner of the Evo said those wheels were off his 240 drift car. Hence the stretched tires. |
looks sick man!

Those are 18x9.5 +12 TE37s with a 225 tire, if memory serves. This would require a ton of work to run on the street (read: widebody kit).
You're much better off running an 18x9.5 +22...all you have to do is run a slightly stretched tire (245 or even some 255s fit), trim/roll your fenders, and run a little camber. This is the setup I run...you can search my username for pics of my car. |
18x9.5+12, you do not need a widebody to run this set up....all you need is some rolling to the rear fenders, stretch tires, and coilover and run some negative camber and slam it and your good....

get the 18x9.5 et22... they are much more do-able and still have the aggressive GTR face.
we had a set, and sold them cb |
I'm running 18x9.5 et22 with a 255 and they took quite a bit of work to make them work in the rear.

sexy as hell
