so with stock HIDs, can you just replace the bulb or do you need the whole shabang? well check out http://www.xenonlink.com they sell whole HID kits with a 1 year warranty for very cheap or you can even just get the blubs for like $35 bucks, cheers!

jrsevo Aug 13, 2008 11:49 PM

i saw that link 35 for both bulbs i wonder if there any good thats a great price.

RyanEvo2006 Aug 14, 2008 06:07 AM

Like I said before dafarmer69 sells them for I believe the same price and his customer service will top anyone, and yes you can buy just the bulbs to swap with the stock hid's

If you are going to go 6000k, I did the Philips Ultinon 6k HID in my Evo. Don't go with anything else because anything else would be inferior.

Thank you ryan.

I do have 6k blue replacements one year warrenty. Remove your stock bulbs and install these. Pricing in the 70.00 dollar range for 2 bulbs shipped.

Piaa are nice, but not everyone has the cash for them.

Stay away from cheap bulbs that have no warrenty.

Pm me if interested.

6K BLUE, I though 6k is more like white

i got xenondepot for my old rsx and they were some of the best colors ever. i really liked them and had no regrets paying the extra price.

The sad thing is, going from 4300k to 6000k isn't an "upgrade".

Wayne99gsr Aug 14, 2008 08:12 PM

whats the stock HIDs? 4300k?

Yes. Any thing higher on the Kelvin scale is ultimately losing lumens, which means LESS light on the ground. All what you get is more "blue" which isn't necessarily a good thing (especially in the rain).

I honestly would try xenonlink, just make sure you know what bulbs you want and order them. I have their HID kit for my RA and i havent had any problems since, cheers!
