Tinted My VIII'S Tail Lights today
 

Got some pre cut tints off ebay. I'm pretty happy with the outcome. did a search on tinting tails and didnt find anyone with them cut like this yet. i'm probably wrong but just incase I figured I'd share some pictures and see what you guys think.

how is the pre cut film off ebay????

works fine, needs a bit of streching to get it into place but for $7.00 i couldnt ask for a better fit.

Looks good, but I'm just hoping they aren't too dark!

Do they have different colors? I wanted red so I can try the DIY 7 tails without having to spray my tails.

so did I but, I could not find pre cut in red, you could always private message the seller and see if can make them, I'm sure its just a matter of changing the sheet to red. If so I might switch to red.

It was getting dark when these pictures were taking. In the sun its really more of a smoked lens. With the lights on I think you can see them clearly. Hope I dont run into trouble on account of the darkness but time will tell.

looks good i did mine just like that a while back but i used paint instead of tint. good job.

Looks good man! They are pretty bright when the lights are on!

Lamin-x also makes some Vinyls for the evo tail lights.

thanks for all the responses everyone, and yeah the lighting seems pretty good if i had a better camera you would see during the daylight its almost a blue hue over the light, cell phone pictures made them look darker then i feel they are.

Can you post a link to the ebay threads? I am interested in something like this too. Also would like red though.

better than stock, but tinted lights looks best on blk evo

I think it looks a little too dark for your EVO.

But they look nice with the lights on.
