Chris Cessna's 9 Second STM Built Stock-Motor RS
 

Many of you have probably seen or heard of this incredible example of 4g63 at its finest, but I am going to throw it in your faces just a bit more. :)

Chris is currently overseas and his 04 RS is up on jackstands here at STM, so I am honored with the task of keeping him and everyone else up to date.

This car is the first stock-motor 4g63 to run a 9-second pass. That's right, Eclipse, Talon, Laser and GVR4 Galant included. Since 1989 when the first 4g63 hit the streets to May 15, 2010... Chris's car rocketed down the 1320 in a factory, Mitsubishi block to run a 9.990 @ 140.75

Many have come close, and some will go faster, but this car won the race to first. Congrats again, Chris!

The MPH should be in the 150ish with the 6262

Interesting it is still on the oem cop and not 4. Looks very clean for a race car. As one may expect from STM.
