volk ce28n's or work emotion cr?
 

hey guys, im new here but iv been in the import game for a while now and im planning on buying an new evo8 in about a month or so, and of course im going to need some new shoes soon after and want to know everyones opinion. i cant make up my mind if i want a Volk CE28n's or the Work Emotion CR's. both would be 18x8.5 or 8.0 and bronze on a white evo8, thanks :mitsu: :thumbup:

volk, i cant belive how much the works weigh...granted there are a few versions

There's a BIG price difference between a set of CE28Ns and Work Emotion CR kai. $1400 vs. $2200 for a set of the same size. The CE28Ns weigh something like 18 lbs., if I recall correctly, and the Work Emotion CRs are 20-21 lbs. If weight doesn't matter, then the Works are a really good deal.

I think there's some confusion about Work wheels.

Work Emotion is the lighter/stronger version = ~$2400/set

Work Emotion CR KAI is heavier = ~$1400/set

The plain Emotion is more comparable to Volk's performance-wise. I would like a set of Volks myself, but Work seems less common. I would want some wheels not everyone else has. Go for Work {thumbup} .

ok, well weight aside, which ones do you think look better. i just dont know if the style of the work emotions would look good with an EVO, but i might be wrong

so...the emotion cr's are lighter then the cr kai( meaning that the regular cr's are lighter)?? is this what you guys are saying?? because i still want to have a light wheel, i dont want something that is going to be really heavy and slow down the proformance.

Get the CE28Ns, they are lighter than the Emotion CR and CR Kai. Work Emotions are comparable in weight to the CE28Ns, not the cast Emotion CR or CR Kai. Both sets look good on the Evo. Diesel has LE28Ns on his and someone just mounted Emotion CR Kais both look very good. :)

I'd get the Volks. Altho the Emotion is also forged, but it doesnt look as good as the CR Kai. I only wish Work Wheels would make the forged verison of CR Kai, then I'd be all over it!
