What gearing did you go with for the 5-speed? And stock or built? I just went through the swap myself (not totally voluntarily, as my 6-speed bell housing decided to split in HALF at the drag strip). I went with the Bushwacker Stage 1 with Evo 8 gearing.
It is a stock tranny (IX) so stock gearing. I am going to have it rebuilt by TRE is the future with different gearing.

Awesome build. Some cool parts esp the voltex ones.
Why did you go with the Invidia 02 housing? I remember searching on this and there was a big discussion how it made no power over stock. They compared the works one as well during this comparo. Dave Buschur was the one doing the testing. I am asking as I wonder if you read otherwise. That 02 is huge compared to all the others out there, so I was shocked how it didn't make power. EDIT - Oh and 1 more thing - I remember reading that the 02 sensor won't reach the new bung location. If you see in your pictures, the 02 housing has the bung on the other side. Again, I am not hating etc, sir - just asking is all! |
