STi BBS's fit EVO?

I have a second set of 05 STi BBS's with R compounds for my STi. Since the bolt pattern is the same for both and only the offset is different (52mm vs 40mm I believe) i was wondering will they fit the wife's EVO?

my bet is that they will not due to the STI high offset. i am sure you will get a better response from someone with more rim and tires knowledge though...

No. They won't sit flush and mount correctly. I have tried to swap my STi wheels to my Evo and vise versa and it was a no go.

plus aren't the STi wheels 17x7.5" as opposed to the 17x8.0" wheels that the evo's have.

the PCD is different on the STI than the EVO so no they wouldn't fit.

EVO is 5X114.3...STI is 5X100.

actually the 05+ Sti's are 5x114.3 and 17x8" wide. I thought since the offset is greater that the rim would clear the EVO BBS. I know the only issue with going the other way is that the EVO wheels don't clear the STi brembo's due to that -12mm offset.

The center part of the rim will not fit onto the bolt assembly(lugs) flush because the center hole is too small and vise versa going from the STi to the Evo there is a similar problem. Both cars have indentical bolt pattern and the same Brembos. Hope it makes sense because I should be asleep.
