Wow, it is not like springs are that expensive, but I guess ebay has became the new part distributer. This is just more reason to buy from real suppliers.

Thats what happens when you buy from FLEAbay

Tein S-Tech's aren't even that great to begin with, but people just love eating their stuff up...so it's not surprising.

Hip Hip Hooray for rampant piracy in China! These bastards just can't be stopped. This stuff gets bankrolled through the purchase of cheap *** knockoff parts

It looks real to me. The spring on the far right corner has TEIN printed on it not on a sticker which is how you tell its a fake.

kool info.....now the counterfeiters will take this info and simply fix there labeling problems on the boxes and product.

unless tein decides to display pictures at different angles of each and every spring for every model they make, counterteiters will still have a field day with them.

WOW this is old news but considering the s-techs are crap for the EVO I don't know why people would even waste their time on them. I wouldn't be surprised if the counterfeit were the same as the real thing.

I got a set of these when buying for the Ralliart and the ride was ok, although after trying to get a refund from the seller and dealing with Tein the whole experince was less than desireable.

Yeah, the most ironic part about this is that the Teins are terrible to begin with. Counterfeiting a piece of crap is as low as it gets...

I wouldn't call them crap, but they are not good for anyone that is into motorsports. If you just want to look good, the ride is very compliant. I bought my IX from another person that had them on and I left them on for a few weeks and I can't complain.

I'm sad that these sellers think its okay to sell suspension pieces of unknown quality. Oh well, interesting read for me.
