The Perrin is good. 25mm is a great size, it's solid, comes with mounts.

25mm is a perfect size actually. I also like the Whiteline 24mm adjustable, and recommend that for track guys that already have coilovers with a good amount of rate in the rear. That bar is also good with stock suspension or just springs.

Not enough people believe in front and rear swaybars for EVO....we are fans.

This is something I'm considering, as I'm looking for a balanced approach. Having searched, I understand that the front bar is relatively difficult to install.

Why pay more money for somthing so close to stock. Stock rear sway bars are 22mm, at LEAST get a 24, perfer 25mm.

out of curiousity.. how many swaybars have you experienced?

I'd pick 25-27mm bar over a 23mm anyday of the week at any track...

We, WORKS, offer a matching 26mm front and 24mm rear bar.

We have made a few 25mm rear bars for unique race car set-ups. But in most EVOs, this typically causes loss of traction by unloading the inside rear wheel which translates into slower lap times.

You can see these bars by clicking below:

got the perrin one on. Perfect fitment, 3way adjustable and comes with new mounting brackets which seem much stronger than the skinny ones we have on.

I don't see how you can tell us you're not in the mood to search - that's not cool. If you want info, you do your homework - that's just how it works.

Anyway, there's for more to "tightening up the handling a little bit" than just adding a $200 part. I do not recommend randomly choosing a rear sway and installing it. Your suspension is a SYSTEM, and you need to modify it as a system, not as a collection of individual pieces. Is a 23, 24, 25, 26, or 27mm aftermarket rear sway bar a proper complement to what you already have? Is your valving along with your spring rates designed to be combined with a stiffer rear sway? What about the tires you'll be using?

All of this needs to be considered ABOVE AND BEYOND asking what the best rear sway bar is...

I can't belive how often the Sway bar question comes up! I have seen these excat answers 1000 times just in the last couple weeks! These are great answers above but, they have been constantley repeated. I swear, Rear Bars are the new BOV

That is very true. Due to their low cost and the PERCEIVED improvement in handling, they are very much the new BOV in the Evo community.

I was going to ask what information you where basing your recomendation off of when you recomended a 25mm bar for this guys particular setup... especially after hearing WORKS' research...

Thats when I realised how old this thread is It looks like it is now on its third life!

The OP now has a pretty nice setup in his sig!
