Looking into a pair of rims but have yet to see anyone on here running that offset. How is the fitment. Has anyone tried this? Is so pics please. I understand you'd probably have to use spacers for the front just curious as to how it would look.

its an odd offset for the EVO. OEM offset is +38. The +42 is 4mm further inboard which is only .16"

It will likely fit but I dont think any of us wheel guys here would sign off on doing this

dont do it. waste of money. plus you might have inboard clearance issues

stick with +25 to +35 offset for 9" wheels (personally i'd stick to +25 to +30)

mostly agree with the post above. from personal experience, 17x9 +35 mm with 255/40 fits perfect. its what should have come on the evo from the factory. +42 mm will put the rim very close to the strut tube in the front and the trailing arm in the rear. if there is some reason you really want those rims, a set of 8 or 10 mm spacers would put the rim at a more favorable offset. should fit without rubbing anything.
