Actually, those SS lines are coated to protect the metal braid from abrasion as the suspension strokes.

It's important that attention is paid to the lines so they don't rub on anything - suspension, tires, arms, etc. If the metal braided outer sheath breaks, the sharp edges could cut the inner hose, leading to a line failure. The outer sheath is already stainless, i.e. it's rust resistant inherently.

Even if you dont like the idea of 75$ for a liter of fluid, Castrol SRF fluid is THE best brake fluid out there. 590F/518F Dry/Wet.

Also, the ACD makes life difficult for an installer of a ducting kit, but it can be done, I have the AMS kit on my 06.

Here's my write up:

Yes, unnecessarily complicated and I partially block my oil cooler for the explicit purpose of symmetry BUUUUT there are a lot of pictures, take it for what its worth

I thought about it. But members can find those in the How-To forum. Unless you have some stellar examples that can be used here.

I've run on the 10's not the 8's at Sebring. Definitely need cooling ducts there. Boiled fluid first run, then bled the brakes, worked for 2 more sessions also using Motul 600.
