(these are 18s but u get the picture)

Alright guys well after a couple months of saving money. It finally came down to ordering my wheels

I ordered Enkei RPF1 17x9.5 plus 18 offset in SBC
I start off by saying these are my dream wheels and I finally ordered them

Can someone plz confirm if I will need spacers up front pr fender mods???

I will be running these wheels with Bridgestone REo1r tires in 245/40/17.

I was planning on getting my alighnment done asap and run sone negative camber.

Btw I'm on stock struts with tein s tech springs. ( So my car sits low and I need to clear)
Plz confirm if I will need spacers (if so what size) and do I need to roll my fenders.

Also I will post pics when they are installed tuesday.

They are going on a 2005 TB evo 8

18 offset?? thats crazy but would look amazing once you get it fitted and all!

But i'm sure you'll need to roll your guards/fenders for sure!

They will fit with a little fender work and camber I have 10" +18 offset right now on my wide body and as long as you go with like a 245 wide tire it shouldn't have any issues GL and Show us the pics as soon as you get them on

you might need 5mm front spacers. I have 17x9 35mm and added 20mm spacers which gave me like 1.5mm clearance from the Brembos! My rears are fine w/ 1.5" drop but the inner front wells rub when turning sharp. I have 255/40/17 tires, 245 should be good.

you will have major rear fender rub w/ that low offset. you'll need fender rolls big time in rear. your setup will have wide track stance but need some work on all corners...gl

After searching a bit i found someone with Enkei Rpf1's in 17x10 +18 offset on 255/40/17 tires. He is using 13mm spacers upfront and 3mm rear. But his wheels dont stick out at all

My question on y he is using such a big spacer up front. With this low offset he should need that much)

IM glad to c the fitment is gonna be good

Curious to see how the +18 fits in the back.

Any specific reason you went with +18 all around, instead of +18 front and +38 rear?

+38 on a 9.5 wide wheel I don't believe it would fit without spacers on the rear - you would at least need a 3mm spacer

The easiest method to use this wheel is to use a +38. A 20mm spacer is needed up from but that is it. No fender mods and you can easily run a 255 tire or a 275 with light rear fender work.

Incorrect. The spacer is actually needed up front. Read my post ^^^. Here is a pic of a 17x9.5 38+ on my car with a 245/45 NT01. Zero fender mod and dropped on megan C/O's.

the 17x9.5 +18 will fit the front perfectly. The rears will be another story. Trust me, me and a friend have run this exact setup, both lowered Works springs as well as Swifts. Only problem is the slight rubbing of the inner fender liner at full lock. Ppl running the +38 with 20mm spacer is the same as running +18.

I have the 17x10 +18 offset on my car and fits perfect with NO SPACERS

ya the only reason to run the 38 offset is for better fitment rear. The 18 offset fits perfect on the front. You could do the 38 offset for all 4 and run the 20mm spacer up front so you can still rotate your wheels and tires so not to worry about dismounting them since you would have different offsets.
