to tire rack/satisfied brake pads.. wtf guys.
so im outside going to do my brakes, i have an autox this weekend and today is the only time i will have till sunday morning. i go out get everything ready to go.. rain.. of course so i get a tarp, get everything out. open the brand new sealed pads..(didnt open them before because i did not want anything to get to them.theres a effing giant chunk missing out of the 2 pads. wtf!!!.. i look in the plastic. there is nothing. a clean bag.. meaning that when these pads were sealed @there factory someone dropped it or something.. and it was sealed missing a part of the pad!!!!.. super pissed as now i will be missing another autox. thanks alot guys. this is a huge safety issue as the pad will probly just flake apart{thum bdwn}{thum bdwn} video as i couldnt get a clear shot since i cant get the flash off. "nothing in the bag" meaning no other brake stuff that it couldve been damaged durning shipment. gald i got wet and have no wasted well over an hour doing this, and got nowhere fast.

Do you have an order number? I don't see any recently sold to anyone in your area, unless I'm missing it somehow. If you have a damaged product we never have an issue exchanging it and getting a replacement out asap. Below from our site,
If your shipment has arrived with a damaged or incorrect item, please contact Tire Rack's customer service department at 888-541-1777 ext. 360. We will report the damage to the shipper and arrange for replacement or exchange. Damaged merchandise must be completely repackaged in the original packing and we will arrange for the return.
You also have a rep here on the board to turn to in cases like this.

The messenger usually gets blamed. As a consumer, we rarely have direct contact with the manufacturer unless we purchased directly from them. Our point of contact is the vendor, and that's why vendors have customer complaint departments and what not, to deal with issues that arise. It comes along with the territory. It is their duty to keep the customer satisfied.
