check it out... the 255 Direzza Sport Z1 Star Specs that I'm considering are actually cheaper than the 245s:

$172.00 for 255:

$175.00 for 245:

btw, this is gonna be a DD on the street I think I forgot to mention so the accuracy of my speedo is a factor.

I bought OZ Ultraleggera 18x8 5x114.3 ET48 , it was on subaru impreza STi 2006

And it doesn't fit on my Evo, well I didn't know that, but I know now.

The question is what to do ?

If I buy spacers bolt on 20mm, will it fit perfectly or I need to cut my oem studs ?

Hmmmm. Crickets.

Ok, I guess I'm gonna have to go with Smike's advice to get the 245/40s on the RPF1 8.5s. I guess that will be plenty of Tire for a DD occasional HPDE/AutoX machine.

Also, I guess since the diameter will be smaller it will rotate more times per distance travelled, thus reading higher on the speedometer compared to the 235/45s so it might actually help me get less expensive tickets, too. is that correct? I'm pretty sure I'm right but I'd like a sanity-check from some guru type. Or will the difference be negligible?

im sure it has been answered before but i cant seem to find a exact answer .
i found a great deal on a set of RPF1's 18x9.5 +45mm with no tires what do i need to do to make these fit without rolling the fenders?

15mm spacer, 20mm or 25mm

25mm at least up front.... might not be enough to clear the brembos.

You'll want a 10mm spacer in the rear.

Looked and couldn't find an answer to the Varrstoen 18's 2.2 .1...wanna run the widest tire, with most recessed six spoke design, giving the lip/ dish look... found the vendors page and no info on what fits just what sizes they offer... What offset and what width?

plan on using these for competition in autox, still stock everything

other than tire prices is there any reason not to run 19's in competition? i found someone whos purchased 19's and is running 10.5 +12 no problem...i like the 19's because they fill out the back more (evox seems to dwarf rims in the back), but i doubt i'm gonna go that route due to tire prices.

tomorrow im going to purchase some 18x9.5 rota grids 20mm offset, i know im going to have to get the rear fenders rolled, i was wondering on tires, im stuck between a 255/35 and a 255/40, i looked at the comparison and then 35 sidewall will be slightly smaller than stock and the 40 sidewall is a hair bigger, i was wondering if i would have any rubbing issues and the difference in revs (if any), struts arent a issue because im on coilovers, i want to lean more towards the 40 for the extra sidewall considering this is mostly a street car with couple autox and track days any information would be tremendously helpful. thanks in advance

Need help guys......I have an 03 Evo and was looking at the XXR 527 Wheels which are 17x9.75 wide.

Wondering what offset I should go with and whats the biggest size tire that can fit under the car without running spacers and without any rubbing on front or rear.

Need to know what offsets to purchase for the front and the rear to have each wheel stick out the same distance without running spacers. I may change my mind on the wheels so I need to know what to look for.

Thanks for any and all help.

I'm looking to get some wheels to fit a 275/35/18 r comp. I am looking at RPF1 18x9.5 or 10 +38. I know I will need a 20mm spacer front with a roll. I'm not sure about the rear but I think a 3-5mm spacer for the rear as well as a roll. Does this sound about right?
