What’s the consensus for 17x9 +45 RPF1s? I have a trade pending and I know spacers are required. I have 20mm for the fronts, would that fit? And anything for the rears? I have 5mm I could throw in but not even sure if that’s enough...any help is appreciated!

The Go-To RPF1 is the: 17x9.5 +38 w/the 20mm front spacer. This is the most popular set-up & has the better look

Honestly I already have 18x9.5 +38 with the 20mm spacer. I want to downgrade and get some cash to be able to pay for a much needed tune. I can afford it but saving up for a wedding so I don’t want to dig into my savings for that. That’s why I’m asking for advice

Totally understand. This +45 is just not a good idea IMHO, forcing both a front & rear spacer. Just not liking it & have not seen any of our members run that RPF1 spec

Heres an old FS thread w/a pic. They appear to have that convex face

Yes, a mysterious recipe of wheel dia, width, offset, tire size, spoke design & potential spacers, combined w/rear fender work & camber set

I guess Ill have to post my question again because I think noone saw it...
Im getting ready to pull the trigger on a set of wheels to finish off my build and have searched and searched for answers to my fitment questions to no avail so if anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
I have an Evo 8 and want either NT03's, Esr sr6 or sr9s.
Question is what is the most aggressive wheel/tire combo I can run without rolling or pulling the fenders at all 17 or 18".

Thanks in advance for any help..

Theres no exact answer but generally speaking, I feel the range falls into this:

17x8 to 17x9 w/an offset range of +34 to +38
18x8 to 18x9 w/an offset range of +34 to +38

Tires play a huge factor in fit: Range is approx 245 to 255

You really need to consider a roll at the very min. Its hard to fit a semi-aggressive wheel w/out some rear fender work

Would a 18x9.5 +25 fit my x without needing to pull or roll fender? Looking at going with some 265 on the rubber end

The X is certainly more forgiving than the 8/9. Dont want to mis-inform so please post up here: (pretty sure you will need at least a roll)

this is also depends on how low the car will go.. the specs MinusPrevious gave you are for mild dropped Evos say.. Swift Spec Rs. But going any lower will cause rubbing issues. On stock suspension, hell you can run 18x10s

yes you can run this set up on stock suspension and even with Swift Spec Rs on a X without any fender modification. I ran 18x9.5 RE30s +22 on Spec Rs with 265s with absolutely no rubbing. The X has enormous fenders compared to the 8/9s.

Super clean look Sam From the wheel to the rotor & caliper

We do have some fender gap if you choose to change?

Curious what the dimension is from C/L of the hub to the underside of the fender?

BTW, my fender heights are: Fender to ground = Front 25.375" & Rear 25.000"
