i'll be honest, i dont know much about suspension period. i have heard great things about koni shocks and ground control etc, this seem like a nice alternative if there was a way we could get these working on an evo.
what do you guys think?

well im looking to spend around $1500 for a set of coilovers, but i dont want any crappy rice brand... i would like a nice set of adjustable coilovers that dont bounce or ride like crap. the car will be an agressive street car that sees the roadcourse 1-2 times a month. what would you suggest thats reliable, quality, and easily rebuildable?

I have been working with some Koni Reps about making some struts/shocks for our evo. I have just been busy so I havent updated him with some dimensions and specs he asked for. The reps name is Jason Harrison. Contact him and tell him to start making some evo konis and maybe he will get on the ball quicker.

my Konis
I have Koni 8611s, a racing favorite, as inserts. Truechoice built them up based on the OEM towers. I believe a number of AutoXers have done the same thing (with OEM springs).
You should be able to get into a similar set for $1400-1700, i went one step further and had Eibach springs added. this set will match any setup at twice the price. may not be as prutty as NA Teins, CUSCO, etc, but they are race proven, DA (!), and rebuildable.
Truechoice is excellent, and their reputation is well deserved.
