Man was it a chore, I was going to quit at least three times. I was going to do a how to but it was alot of work to begin with and I wanted to get it done. Sorry guys. There are a few things you might want to know before you do this.

First plan plenty of extra time and money!!!
The aluminum arms are very soft and can be damaged easily. You must use the perfect size press die (or in my case socket).

Next I bought a press and it was a life saver. If I would have had this done at a shop it would have cost alot of time and money.

Next get plenty of rags and gloves that sticky stuff is nasty.

ive wanted to do this myself for a long tme... i have a buddy with a press and im wanting to get the Energy Suspention complete kit for my car.. The big question is what is the best lubericant to use to help the bushings slide in, i didnt want to use just a cheapo multi purpose grease.

It comes with the bushing gel stuff that keeps the bushings quiet. As for the a grease to lube it going in I didn't really need a lube until I got to the big bushings on the front control arms. They suck alot!!!!! I finally took my wire wheel on my grinder and took a little off of the lip on one side and angled them a little. It was good, but the energy suspension bushing kit does not come with all the bushings on the car. It is missing the three on the rear lower control arms and the two on the rear upper control arms. When i replace one I want to replace them all.

thanks for sharing. This is my next big (as in labor intensive, pain in the ****) mod I think. I definitely need to give my entire suspension setup some TLC, and get rid of the driveline shock. I think I'm gunna use the Buschur solid rear diff bushings though.

did you swap the plates in the rear when you had it out?

I did my side diff mounts but have yet to do the mustache bar bushings. I'm thinking if I have it out I might as well replace it with the Buschur bar.

Wow. Makes me happy I already had both of those done to my car when I got it.

Another suggestion to add is to anti-seize the front LCA bolts as you don't want to to rust weld right into the bushing itself. I have this and now, I have to replace the front subframe, cut the bolt to get my LCA out of the subframe and hope I can press the old bushings out to save that LCA... It's a real pain once it rust welds to the bushing...

I sure did I just drove it for the first time. I'm a little nervous because I keep hearing a little clicking when backing up. A couple of people said that's normal, but it still makes nervous.

What changes have you noticed so far? Specifically in cabin noise and vibration? You're not using an after market mustache bar, are you?

I have noticed a slight noise but nothing that is that noticeable. I notice when backing up a slight clicking coming from the rear diff. It feels absolutely perfect, the cornering and the braking are day and night.
