I'll Look into the swift spec r's I'm not saying anyone on here doesn't know what they are talking about at all. I'm not a suspension guy in the least. I just already have them I got a good deal on them and I'm sure you get what you pay for. I've read up on them alot before I posted this and even more since then. I was just asking about the bump stops I should have just left the name out lol. All I wanted to know was whether most cut them on an install or not reguardless of brand

Just having them does not mean you should install them. That is a stupid comment.

They are NOT a good deal. Damaging MR Bilsteins for the sake of stupid is just stupid.

Since noone pointed this out. If your going to redo your suspension in the fall why are you wasting money doing anything at all with it right now. Just save that money and get better coilovers or get them sooner. Your digging a hole for yourself?

I'm not redoing it 100% just if these turn out to be what they say then I likely will.

Speaking from personal experience, those Tein springs are terribad. I only had them on my car because they came on it.

There are 3 main springs that are proven to work for the evo and are recommended, in no particular order; Robispec, GTWorx, Swifts. These are proven because members on this forum, including me, have WON using these. Basically what you have are guys that race are telling you they are crap, and guys that dont race are telling you they are good so that should mean something.

You wont get the slammed look with these springs, but it will make your evo very enjoyable to drive. A proper setup with these springs can make for a decently fast, competitive evo so why do you feel you need to step up to coilovers?

Well the whole reason I bought them was to stiffen up the car I had read some bad things about them like I said above. I am with you 100% those are the better springs. I know these will stiffen the ride of the car. I don't auto x or do anything with curves it's a DD car that goes to the strip from time to time and I bought them with intentions of keeping my front tires from unloading off the start at the strip or to help out anyways. I just had a ? About the bumpstops and it got whirled in a tein vs the world thread lol.

Stock: F: 180 lbs/in, R: 225 ibs/in. 0 drop.

Tein S Tech: 212 lbs/in, 291 lbs( 2.0f / 0.9r

Swift Spec Rs MR: F: 358 lbs/in, R: 380 lbs/in. -1.4, -0.66 drop

Tein - too soft and too low.

**** it. Just don't install the bumpstops. **** getting an alignment after either. It's painfully clear you haven't any smarts here.
