I think I have finally found the right aftermarket inner tie rod.

Thanks for finding these. Just ordered from Amazon for $20/each. The deliver quicker and have a better return policy than RockAuto. I’ll post up observations.

Can’t go wrong with Moog. They’re just about the best when it comes to tie rods & ball joints, they even have a partnership with NASCAR which they manufacture steering and suspension components for them.

I have a newbie question. How can you tell if you need to replace your inner tie rod. I had a shop tell me I needed to replace my passenger side inner but I don’t truly trust them. I want to diagnose it myself.

If you hear a "thumping" noise while turning the steering wheel left and right, (with the car off and parked) or feel play, it could be an ITR. If you raise the car up and wiggle the suspected wheel left and right and hear/feel the same, it may be an ITR also. On my Honda, I could hear/feel when i moved the wheel by hand.
If the steering rack boot on that side is ripped/torn, that's a pretty good indicator that the ITR may be bad.
