Sensible summer tires

Sensible summer tires
Does anyone with full negative camber have experience with sensible summer tires?
I've been running RE-11A/Z2* for DD. Fun times, but I would like to reduce my cost/mile a bit.
Looking for reasonable cost, decent grip, medium treadwear, good wet handling. No need to handle freezing temps - so all seasons are not on my list.
The complicating factor is camber : I had some 340 treadwear Conti DW's that I really liked for price/performance/treadwear, but my -2/-1.5 camber killed them in 15k miles (inside corded with outside at 1/2 tread...).

Yea, something else is up, I got 15k and 10 autocrosses out of the Dunlop Z2* I had on my car. What's the toe in on your alignment? At zero toe in that alignment should be fine. You could maybe run a little less camber in the rear 1-1.2. But it shouldn't really matter.

Thanks for the responses guys.
I get usually get 10-15k out of my 180-200 treadwear tires, (depending on how naughty or nice I am that year) - so the excess wear on the Conti DW's surprised me.
I was running with a little bit of toe in front and rear at the time - I was trying to save $$ and use a conservative alignment... I'll have to dig up the paper and see what the #'s were. I usually have 0 front and little toe out rear. Funny if my attempt at a conservative alignment killed them...

Toe in usually wears the outside edge a bit faster. So with how you wore the tires, I would say run less camber, or drive the car harder to use up more outside tread lol

15k miles on a set of tires is bad?
Must be my driving but I'm feeling good if I get 12k before there is no tread left, pretty much on any tread life tire (harder tires slide more???). I don't usually have issues with camber wear though and I'm running -2.5* currently in the front with 1/32" toe out. Every corner I get the chance to rip around, I usually do.
