im on the process of Corner weigh balancing the evo for TEIN coilover install.
Plan to buy this Proform 67650 on Jegs or Amazon.com. they are so far the cheapest in the market.
anybody uses this? or do you have any idea how to Corner Balance a DIY cheap version?

That Proform is cheap$$. I wouldn't trust it. I would stick with Intercomp or Longacre. I found that once I bought mine I use them a lot. Other cars, motorcycles that kind of thing. I would want a 1,500lb capacity per scale also. Or, plan a trip to Tahoe. Meet me. Buy me dinner at my favorite place. Use mine.

I did get the Preform 67650 Vehicle Scale and the scale did what it supposed to do and i was impressed.
My purpose of doing this corner balancing are for intermediate track event and some street legal drag, just for fun.
i did tried some track days already, so just curious where is the car now in terms of corner weights.
So, i weighted the car and its 5% corner weight off with my 260 lbs a$$ in the driver seat.
(sorry it was in metric. but the % is the same)
So it 52.5% FL/RR wheels vs 47.5% FR/LR wheels cross weights!
This is 176.9 lbs cross weight difference.
This is why the car goes a lil more to the right when i launch it.
After lifting here and there and Did some corrections and this is the final results,
It is now 50.6% FL/RR wheels vs 49.6% FR/LR wheels cross weights! I'm happy
Now, I'm in 1% tolerance cross weight difference per standard cross weight allowable difference.
Thats 35 lbs cross weight difference compare to 176.9 lbs before.
I drove the car and man, drives awesome! steering wheel is light in every street corner turns!
you can feel it!
i did launched it too, and whoa!!! straight as an arrow from A to B! wow!!!!
i am really impressed that i did the corner weight balancing and the Proform Scale is awesome too!!
Im excited to test this in the track!
i know I'm not hardcore track racer or whatever and yes i did wasted my time and energy, and even money for the scale,
but main thing is, car drive awesome for me! and this is my passion!
And i highly recommending it if you have an upgraded coilover and sway bars!
i will do some "how to" thread for this to share it to those who wants to do theirs.
Thanks
