235 Advan Neova or 245 Hankook RS-3?

235 Advan Neova or 245 Hankook RS-3?
I've got 70% worn Advan's 235/45x17's on my track rims, and I just nicked one and it now needs to be replaced I was thinking of trying 245/40x17 Hankook RS-3s. I've got 8.5 inch rims so I was wondering if the RS3s would be a better buy and get me around the track quicker, they are also 20 bucks cheaper then the narrower Advans


Unfort you cant get RS4s here yet for some reason.

Unfort you cant get RS4s here yet for some reason.
You should also consider Bridgestone Potenza RE 11s.

only sold in 18 and 19 inch here, I am stuck with one of the above tires

Since you mention tracking the car, why not get 255/40 RS3's rather than 245/40?

I believe from everything I have read on here that a 255/40 could create tire rub issues and I do not want to take the chance and need to roll my guards
