Im looking to do a complete flush of the systems in my car that use brake fluid (brakes and clutch). Im looking to put Amsoil's DOT 4 fluid into my car, which happen to come in 12 oz (about 350ml) bottles, in order to do a full flush, how many bottles should I buy? anything I should watch out for?

on my changes, I usually use about one and a third bottles. So about 3 bottles between 2 cars so I try to do two cars at a time otherwise I chuck the left overs away

So would 3 bottles be enough for a full flush of BOTH the clutch and the brakes?

probably two bottles would do you, its cheap stuff anyway, any left overs chuck away as it absorbs water

I just did a complete brake system flush. It took 1 qt (32 oz) to get the job done. That included a few minor mistakes where I had to redo a few things. To be safe, I would go with four 12 oz bottles if you are doing the clutch too.
