Anyone running Falken FK510, chime in plz
I recently picked up a set of Volks with a fairly aggressive offset and looking to buy a reasonably less expensive tire. These are fairly new Azenis, only reviews I found were on UK websites and they seem positive overall. Tirerack has them for $120 each right now for the 255/35/18s.
Any one have any experience with them? This is strictly a form set up as I have a functional set up too. That is why I am not too concerned with having the best performing tire. However, I am also not trying to roll on cheap Chinese tires.
Anyways, main feedback I am looking for is ride noise and how wide they run. They seem to run a bit wider than the other two tires I considered which are the Firestone Indy 500s and Sumitomo HTR Z3s. Also anyone running any of these I would appreciate feedback.
Wheel specs are 18x9.5 +15.

Another guy here ran same set up with even lower stance and a 265. Fender mod is a must with anything on a CT9A with lower than +28. There is a shop near me that is pretty good at fender work. My RS is mostly a garage queen weekend car. Also got Fortune autos coming as well. Its on Swift Spec Rs at the moment. You gotta pay to play the way I see it with aggressive set ups... but when done right they look great. That's what I am aiming for.
595RsRs in the 255/35 have the same section width 10.2" as the Azenis and cost the same. For comparison sake I ran Nitto Invos 265s and they fit squared on 18x9.5 RE30s and they have a width of 10.39". This changes slightly of course when a tire is stretched. But my point is the aforementioned tires are practically a 265 width compared to most other tires. Hence why I am considering 255s. When running aggressive set ups this is huge. I refuse to run anything less than a 255 though.
Fightex ran them with a 265 and he rubbed but ran less than -2 camber up front. So with a 255 and a bit more camber I should be fine given the right amount of fender work. Here is his thread.

I ran this set up before on my first Evo. Ran -2.4 F, -2 rear.. with a 255.. initially with a 245 which I hated. ON Swift Spec Rs. Rear bolt relocated and fenders rolled and slight pull in the rear.

The Feds run pretty meaty I heard? I would go with 255s if I go with Federals. Appreciate the suggestion. How loud are the 595s and how many miles you been running them?
