Evo 8 bushings

Somewhat new to the evo world, former STi owner and happily came to the dark side. However my STi out handled my evo, so part of my winter plan is bushings/sway bars. I cant seem to figure out all the bushings and what not in this car!

Im looking to purchase the energy suspension bushing kit below along with sway bars
Also plan on doing some shifter bushings while im at it!

https://www.maperformance.com/produc...BoCVZoQAvD_BwE

My question is, is there any more bushings i should look into doing while i have the arms/links and so on out? And could someone show me on a diagram what all bushings are actually being replaced with this kit? Should i look into doing more? The names have me confused!!!

That kit looks rather complete & is likely all you will need unless there are other issues

You noted an interest in up-rating the sway bars. The EvO really doesnt need a front sway bar upgrade if you up rated your suspension springs.

Most of us run the Whiteline rear 24mm bar, but there are other RSB's avail

Thank you for the insight! Maybe ill start with a rear bar and if its not enough, simply add the front later!! Im interested in also putting bushings in the arm where the coilover bolts into the rear suspension! Also some shifter bushings, steering rack as well! I know some of the factory bushings a spherical and theres no need to replace them!!

That master kit covers the 2 blue circled items. But your diagram doesnt show the rear diff bushes

The black circled items can certainly be considered if your chassis has a lot of miles

As well as this ? I know the one bushing is spherical ? Are all of them spherical? Are any of these worth replacing?

Heres the front major bushes that most of us replace w/Whiteline or other (Take note of the bump steer correction kit used by most of us)

Yes Sir, i think youre right:

front & rear control/trailing arm bushings, 24mm front sway bar bushings, 22mm spiral rear sway bar bushings, rear differential bushings/mustache bar bushings

The kit is a bit diff than the WL individual bushings. i.e. like I noted, most track guys run the WL bump steer correction kit (just a thought. Not needed if youre not tracking hard).

And in the current state of my EVO (off track for 2 years) I certainly didnt need it

I went with the "master" kit from energy suspension. Can be had in red or black and is pretty complete.. no issues a year later.
