Aluminum Brake Pistons

Does anyone know where we can obtain the aluminium brake pistons when rebuilding the front calipers on the 2006 Evo MR?

Thanks - I was looking at those, but was wondering why the OEM used aluminum. Is there some advantage to aluminum pistons?

Les expensive to produce most likely. The stainless pistons are an upgrade.

Can you use the same rubber and seal kits as used for the OEM aluminum, or do you have to use a kit specific to the stainless pistons?

Idk. But the seal kits Racing brake sells are way less expensive than OEM anyways. And they work fine.

Stainless has much lower thermal conductivity than Aluminum, on the order of 8x. So in brakes, it seems to make sense to keep temps away from fluid.
