bump, after i saw and read the article in the new Turbo magazine about them using the HKS hypermax coilovers on their project Evo, I have been curious if anyone on here has had a good experience with them also. The article seemed to praise them a good bit, and they sound as if they would be really nice, except for the price i guess.

Would like to know also. I like the way a lot of the HKS goodies perform. Seems like everyone uses TEin, but would like to know how the HKS perform

they aren't all that exspensive relative to the JIC's and Cusco's. I think that the HKS Hypermax's are a little better for street use while still utilizing the good design that the JIC and Cusco's have, at least that is what I have gathered from what I've read. If you guys haven't seen it yet, the article in the new Turbo magazine is pretty good.

i have them in my car and love the way the handle. i have had the teins before and the were noisy at times. i would recommend them to anyone wanting a good set of coilovers.. btw.. the fronts are 40 way ajustable and the rears are 30 way.

I love my hipermax II!!! You would think each twise of the 30 damping setting would not make much of a diff but wait till you try it. I have it set at 20 in the front and 25 in the rear right now and the car handle and ride much better than stock. I have to drive a cannyon road to work every morning and all I can say is I am putting those coilovers to a good use. I think they response a better than stocks too. As far as experience on other coilovers, my friend has cusco zero2 on his wrx and I think its a little too stiff, handles great but not as responsive since the front are not inverted struts. I had zeal basic (track ver, high spring rate) on my 96 integra and that was too soft, had alot of body roll even with all the bars. Teins were just way too bumpy and I heard they have a rusting issue. If I had the chance to do it again, I would get the hipermax pro. HKS just built quality parts!

I think I've pretty much decided on these coilovers... does anyone have them and not like them??? And also, what is the best place to order them from?
