18 inch wheels
When you get 18 x 8.5 inch wheels, make sure you get 225x40/18 tires for it. This will have the same rolling diameter as the 225x45/17 tires. Anything wider and the tires will touch inside the wheelarches.
This even happens with some 17 inch tires in 235x45/17. Not all tires have the same sidewall design, so one tires can be fine in 235x45/17, another cannot.
Also keep in mind that the wider the tire, the heavier. And the point is to reduce unsprung weight. There will not be a noticeable difference between 225 and 235 tires roadholding wise. So play it safe so to speak.
Love,

I think it's a nice 5 spoke wheel, but personally would find it more of a match for a Golf or BMW 3 series. Looks too much like a street type wheel, not rallye style, if you know what I mean.
They look more or less light as well. You will be able to show off your brake setup with those as well!
Have you got more info on this wheel? I guess they are 18x8,5? How much do they weigh?

At the Motorshow in Essen I saw a 6 with 245s on 18" ATS wheels. It also had an Öhlins uprated suspension and had what looked like a 5mm spacer. The Öhlins suspension was a twin-tube damper which was designed to use the standard springs, therefore shít. The car was prepared by Gassner Motorsport and the suspension by a company called Zuben, or something.

Must have been installed by Zuppin the Oehlins importer in Germany.
BTW I had this Khan wheel on my Scoob but got rid of it as the offset wasn't correct.
