19" RIM TIRE SIZE FOR EVO????
JUST WONDERING IF ANY EVO OWNERS ARE RUNNING 19 x 9.5 RIMS ON THEIR CAR? IF SO WHAT SIZE TIRE ARE YOU USING AND DID YOU HAVE TO ROLL YOUR FENDERS? THANKS.

19" is kinda big and tires will be expensive. It will be a problem when you lower your car with coilovers or springs. I will be running on 18s on the street, but switch back to 17s for the track.

19s are too big man, especially if you drive around streets with potholes and stuff, it'll damage your rims cause your tires will be pretty thin. If your not going for bling factor then whats the point of 19s>??

What Size Tires Do You Run And Did You Have To Roll Your Fenders? I Know What Size They Recommend Which Is 265 35 19 For A 9.5" Rim. Is Your Car Lowered? Because Mine Is.

i cannot tell you if you put a 265 wont rub, but as for me im running a 235/35 with a 19x9 w/30 ofsett and no rubbing whatsoever. i also have my car lowered with the hks hipermax coilovers about 2.5inches. also, non of my fenders are rolled in my car.

i can tell you with 9.5's you have to run coilovers. the stock struts are too big in diameter for the
rims to clear. unless you aren't lowered at all then you might be ok with a wacky offset
pushing the rim way out.
you will need to run an overall wheel/tire diameter close to the stock setup.
if you go to tirerack you can check "specs" on what the normal 235/45/17 diameter is(25.4'
i think) and just start checking to see what other width/profile combos get you close.
go to "products", "brands", then when you pick a brand and model of tire there is a tab for specs.
that should give you all the info needed. pay attention to the "section width" and what rim
these measurements are taken on. you really need to try to stay under 10" wide on the section
width number. that will save you a lot of hassle.
it looks like a 235/35/19 or a 265/30/19 in a pilot sport 2 would work. you might get away with
the 235's without rolling but it also depends on your offset. you would definately have to roll with the 265's.
i'm running 18x9.5's 35mm offset with 275/35/18 ra-1's and those needed a ton of rolling in
the rear. the front also rub but mainly just at full lock. a bit narower tire would probably fix this.
good luck

yeah kinda wanna stay away from 30 series tires. 35 is kinda pushing it for me. would like to have a 40 series at least if i could. hit a pot hole by accident with 30 on and you can pretty much kiss your rim goodbye.
