need brakes?
hey guys, I have 1/4 of an inch thickness left in my brake pads with 21K miles. Do I need new brake pads yet? At what thickness is it wise to change them out?

rule of thumb would be to replace them when the pad is as thin or thinner than the metal backing of the pad
