Prodirve GC-05F
As a matter of fact, they are great people and have great products. I am goint to install the GC-05F, in silver metallic soon, on my IX. By the way they weigh only 17lbs. a rim, I had them on my STI, and they are exceptional wheels.

It's like no one wants to do any work there to try to sell a wheel.
If I am going to buy something like that, I want to do it from someone who gives a ****.

Maybe because Evo owners don't know about these wheels, as they know about other brands for our cars.

But most of the time we either know the answer already or can get the answer by looking it up.
The reason I belive Prodrive doesn't bring over mass quantaties of the EVO wheels is due to the fact they are not the quick mover the Subaru Wheels are. I think in everyone of my threads I have made promoting Prodrive people have come in and said, "Prodrive is for subaru just like Ralliart is for Mitsubishi"
While that is not true that is the mentallity of most Evo owners.
While we have some specials on GC-06D's that I run on my own personal car. And if you really wanted a set of GC-05F you could take a STI one and put a wheel spacer on it but I would not recommend it.

That's true, that's what's happening. We as EVO owners, we should look more out there for other brands besides the USUAL SUSPECTS.

The only way it's going to happen is, if we ask for and order their products more.
Prodrive
Greekven,
I am looking for a larger size rim, sort of trying to maximize within the factory confines so to speak. The 18 x 9.5 with +40 mm offset that I was looking into, according to Prodrive Japan, does not fit. They really didn't seem to have an open mind to anything else to help me. I imagine they would fit fine with a small spacer up front to clear the calipers, but who knows. I'm not really a fan of spacers. They said that they weigh 8.5kg, which equates to 18.74lbs.......I was also looking into the Advan Kreuzer V in an 18 x 9 with a +38mm offset that according to Gruppe-S on their website, clears the calipers. These rims look very similar to the GC-05F except that the spokes taper a little nicer or sleeker. They weigh wery close to the GC-05F's. These Kreuzer V's, if they do clear the calipers, would be a perfect fit on an Evo, adding 1/2" to the inside and outside of the stock set-up and also enable you to put a 265/35/18 under the wells without rolling the fenders. What do you think? Check out Gruppe-S for a picture. You can find better shots of this rim on the web.

They are very nice, make sure they clear the calipers.. One thing though, I think the Advans are not forged aluminum, which the Prodrive are. Ask the guys at Gruppe-S about it. Let me know.

18x8.5

Ben, so that means the rims for the evo 18x8.5 +34mm are going to weigh approx. 18lbs. per rim?
