Interested in seeing anyone who has painted there Stock EVO8 wheels. I want to compare color and finish to see if I should Paint mines. i'm sort of leaning towards painting the gold or black. Post you pics if you got them.

I was also thinking of painting mine. I was thinking black. So if you post a picture of yours painted will you also list what paint you used or powder coat or what. The only ones I have seen painted have rock chips all over....I really would like to know how to avoid this but hopefully still DIY...

i only think the right way would be to poweder coat the wheels but maybe people here have tried something else. I would like to see people post there wheeels if they have pics

I would think that some people have painted there stockers. I guess not.

There are a few threads on it. Duplicolor makes wheel coating just for this.

Im thinking about painting mine as well in Dark Red color. The car is white. Ill be using them for AutoX only tho.

i was thinking the same. torn between coated black, gumetal or getting them chromed. i saw a silver evo with chrome stock wheels. i actually liked it a lot. i know it adds some weight but it looked sweet.
