So I DD my evo, and I want a sticky tire to go to the track with. I dont go to the track often enough to justify buying DR's or slicks, so what is the stickiest street tire? for stock wheel size btw.

rt615 is always a crowd favorite, not too sure about its drag compliance though. what about the Yoko ones that Dave b runs ? i though he did a low 10 on those with his Rs

Didn't Curt Brown run some pretty amazing times on the RA1's?

Since this is your DD, I would seriously look into a sticky all season tire. Something like a Pilot Sport. Performance tires have a stiff sidewall, and sketchy traction in bad weather. All seasons will have a softer sidewall, which is what you want, especially in a DD.

couldn't say what he was running...

i hook up really well with my falkens.... and i've put almost 10k on them, and they probably have another 7-10k in them... theyre so cheap i dont feel bad about abusing them at all lol

falkens going to be the better all around tire... the nitto 555 is going to be the better drag tire....

cheers!

555= NO WET WEATHER TRACTION.. especially for a DD thats a bad idea.. and yes falkens are good.. but not the best..

For drag racing? You sure about that?

A sticky all season, with a soft sidewall is the way to go..

Toyo RA-1 is WAY STICKIER than the RT-615. It is not a drag tire, but it will do a great job. Treadwear is only 100 though, they don't last for ****. Not dissing the RT-615. It is a great compromise and will last way longer than the RA-1.

Nitto Neo-Gen's are a joke.
