Very Bumpy Ride

Lately I've notice that my ride has been getting bumpy in my 2003 Evo 8. I just recently switched out the struts and got new Evo 9 struts with the old hotchkis springs and the ride still feels bumpy. I also believe that my rear motor mount is blown and could have cause this or the springs are getting old. Could either one of these be the problem?

Also, with the old struts, i heard squeaks when i pull out of my driveway or anything like that and with the new 9 struts, i still heard it. I believe the motor mount is out because when I shift while racing, i hear a thump from the engine moving... but dont know why my ride is still rough.

where are you hearing the thump from when shifting? the motor or the rear diff? https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ht=shift+thump as for the squeeks it could be the rear lower control arm bushing. search "rear squeek"

I have an 03 stock suspension, i also have all these problems.
bumpy ride (figured that was normal though)
spueaking (in rear, usually going over speed bumps)

My car has 54k miles on it. How do you know if your motor mounts are going up? And which ones usually goes out first?

front motor mount is usually first to go. i just replaced mine with a forge urethane mm on my 03 and it made a huge improvement in shifting. there was more vibration at first but after about 2 weeks the vibration went away
