Nitto 555R Drag Radial
is anyone running these tires on their evo? im getting DR's for my evo and since i can't find BFG's anywhere im going to have to settle with nittos. how is the traction at the track with these tires?
btw come spring ill be running a 35r on race gas, so i want to know if these tires will hold up at the track

apparently they're really good. They are the ONLY drag radial approved for street legal, sanctioned drag racing in Japan.
I had regular Nitto 555's on my evo for a short fling, and they worked really well.

Nitto's are a good compromise between decent mileage and traction
I've had both on my 500rwhp Cobra and here was my experience, for what it's worth. Nitto's last for a drag radial, had good street traction but only fair at the track (for me). BFG's hooked consistently better but lasted half as long
