Most camber plates won't give you any extra caster....their "cut" is straight across.

These Whiteline plates are "canted" to push the top of the strut back some.

So, for maximum caster you would basically get the stock camber adjustment close to 0* and then dial in the desired camber with the plates?

the pics on global performance make it look like when you dial in maximum negative camber you get minimum positive camber...

and the P1-P2 graph confirms this

That seems completely backward from the whole purpose of adding caster ... positive caster compliments negative camber, right?

If you look at the way the camber plate is oriented when it's on the car....when it's at max camber, it really is at close to the max caster available.

Meaning when it's slotted all the way in, the strut can't move any farther back.

At P1, which is max camber, the strut isn't gonna move any farther back for more caster. So that is max caster at max camber.

I took P1 being max camber and P2 being max caster...and when you're at P2, you have to rely on the camber bolt on the coilover/ strut for your camber, as you are close to 0 camber on the plate...that's my understanding...

Right, what i mean is at P1, you're getting as much caster as you can get with that much camber (not including anything you get from camber bolts).

P2 is still max caster like you said.

These look like they'd have less caster than the Ground Controls BUT I think it's really an optical illusion. I had the GC's on my car last season and from where I remember the settings to be they are actually very close. The only real difference between the two is the GC's are top mounted and these are bottom mounted.

Are you basically saying that these plates will give max available caster at every camber setting?

So, at to most positive camber setting the plates allow you would technically have more positive caster and at the most negative camber setting you would have less positive caster ... but, that would still be the most positive caster available at that camber setting regardless of the caster adjustment technique?

Any news on the stock strut/OEM style spring versions availability?
