What you bought is a very popular size & offset designed for the Stance fit. None of the road coarse / function guys run that offset. Most function setups are running +30 to +38 & even at that we needed some rear fender work

Heck, i was fitted for the following spec: 17x9.5" +30 w/a 275/40 tire. My EvO rears needed everything your +22's will need w/a modest 255/35 tire.

If youre more Stance oriented, then a super tight rear fender roll w/some heavy negative camber & ride height may get you by (would not work well at the track or aggressive driving )

Its definitely not going to the track. It’s a daily driver that I’m not too hard on. I also forgot to mention it lowered .9 inches in the rear. Also I’ve been looking around town and no one will roll fenders. They say it’s a liability. Unless I want to buy a fender roller and do it myself I’m screwed. I’ve never rolled a fender before so I’d be a little reluctant to try myself. Sigh. Thanks for your help. No clue what I’m gonna do now

im in the same boat as you man. I have a slight roll on rear fenders but that is it. I talked to a guy local to me, he has a Beatifully EB 9 on 18x9.5+22 on a 245/40/17. Fitment is pretty nice. He’s pretty damn close for fender to wheel gap. He said he slightly rubs depending on bumps and passengers. I will end up going with the exact set up he has and just keep about a fingers gap for clearance and have coilovers pretty stiff. Might end up getting an alignment and getting some very slightly camber. If it rubs a tad tad bit I’m fine with that. I recommend at 245 tire tho.

So I just bought a fender roller. Going to give it my best to make these bad boys work. Gonna go slow and take my time to do it right. One more question, sorry man. Will I need to remove the wheel well liner and if so will it fit back into place once the roll is complete?

Yeah, for sure take your time & go over the how-to Vids on YT. Youll want to use a heat gun, on the paint, so it doesnt crack. There is no rear fender liner (only the fronts have those)

yes, any 9 inch rim with an offset lower than +28ish will require fender rolling. That tire is thin for a 9 inch rim but will "help" with fitment.

You really need to have the cambers & toes set by a shop. Here are the snippets from the manual on the front & rear. Its good to be aware of the front camber bolt & in which direction its placed to achieve the -2 degrees if needed

Success! Managed to fit the te37s 18x9.5 +22s with just a tight fender roll! Zero rub. Very happy with the result👍
