Wheel wont come off

So i jacked up the car and took off all the lugnuts and the tire is like stuck on there. I had just drove it like 30miles so maybe its the heat that caused it to get stuck. Or is it something else.

either kick the tire (not rim) on the top or bottom hard or use a sledge hammer on the backside of the tire from underneath (note if you cant aim -- dont do this)

Use a breaker bar, and get a pipe to slip onto the handle to increase the length of the handle. This will provide more leverage, but becareful so the pipe does not slip as you apply pressure.

You'll break cords...

Grab a dead blow and start whacking the back of the wheel itself (lip). I just had to go through this and for about 5 minutes I was swinging that dead blow as hard as I possibly could.

+1 , sit on your butt and kick the tire on the base. It's just stuck, very common.

to remove this loosen up your lug nuts but do not fully remove. then put down the car. jack it up again and remove it.

This was a constant problem on DSMs, the wheels would rust weld to the rotors. The rotors would rust weld to the hubs too but that is another story.

Anyway, the way you removed a rust welded wheel was by jacking the stuck wheel until the tire was just off the ground. Then with a 2x4 longer than the width of the car, slide the board in from the opposite side and hit the tire at the bottom. One hit will do. Have a throw rug on the pavement to keep from marking the wheel.

The rotors on my ES rusted onto the hubs. Broke six (6x) Class 12.9 bolts trying to remove them. But good idea with the 2x4, I may have to try that next time the wheels get stuck on my cars.

EDIT: 4 bolts were 12.9 and 2 bolts were A-2 Stainless.
