Winter ABS?

Does anyone on here disable their ABS in icy winter conditions or snow driving? If so what is the best method? I've heard of it before and I did some searching but I couldn't find more than a mention of it.

I know ABS is great and all but I've personally had problems with it in the ice and snow engaging a little too much.

The brake bias in an Evo is towards the front, so left foot braking is tough without inducing major push. The car really needs to be unsettled.

It is VERY important to remember (the light on the dash helps) that if you have to panic brake the wheels WILL lock and you have no control and your stopping distance WILL increase.

Storms on the highway = ABS on

Snow in places I know only me and my car are at risk = ABS off for the attempt to have some fun.

Just yank the fuse. Unplugging things opens connectors up to contamination that could be hard to recover from.
