Almost thumping?

So i guess i kinda started noticing it after i installed my new clutch but, it seems like everytime i get out of a driveway or over a speed bump i can really feel the suspension being pushed in and theres almost a thump, i thought maybe my tires, but my tires are all smooth, i don't believe any parts are loose that could cause this. Anyone heard of a stock 2004 Evo 8 GSR suspension going out at 60k miles? The original owner who had it before me put on some TEIN Luxary springs, could that be affecting the dampers? Thank you

was your ride on the lift for an extended amount of time? Maybe the springs have not settled back to original form yet?

Look for fluid/oil around the struts.

NO my car has not been on a lift at all, in over a year, and my tire pressure is good. Although my alignment is off and i will check for fluid/oil today.

I can almost guarantee that some suspension bolts are loose. Check them ALL, including the subframe mounting nuts, and torque to spec. The torque spec is higher than you would expect and if you just do them by hand, it won't be tight enough.

Thats a very good point thank you i will definitly check that today, cuz i didn't think the evo's suspension would be going out at 60k with only 2 owners. and its 6 years old...

Actually, 50k is about par for struts. They are wear items.
